The assignment for this project was to create a 3x6 foot poster and other merchandise to advertise the event of a typography and graphic design event taking a place in a randomly selected city. I was chosen to make the event take place in Mexico City. I needed the theme of the poster to follow the architecture of the location so I made my poster polygon grid themed because of the Lady of Guadalupe Church that uses geometric cubes that extrude from the walls and follows a grid fashion. Below the final poster, you will find all the drafts I experimented with before I stuck with whole polygons.
